Hi! I’m chillin’ over at Secret Agent Josephine’s pad, home to the beyond adorable Baby Bug, for the day, while she takes a much-deserved blogcation. Come say hi when you have a minute! Oh, and there’s a very good chance I might be in court in Monterey while you’re reading this (Friday morning) silently cursing that lying Pigeon-Faced Cop who’s solely responsible for my high anxiety these past couple months politely pleading my case with the judge. Wish me luck!

Spoiler Alert: SAJ designed me the cutest banner(s!) ever for my site, which will soon occupy its own URL. Huzzah! Big reveal to come soon when it’s all gussied up and ready for visitors!

I loved your post over at SAJ. Tried to leave a comment but WordPress hates my office. I think it’s gone off into spamland.

Anyway, those were some amazing photos. While I’m chained to a computer all day, I would never think for a second that your job is easy!

    Sarah, no URL, just

Hi, I came by way of SAJ =) Actually, what really drew my attention was:
    1. You’re a travel writer. I happen to be very good friends with somebody who is also a travel writer. When I lived abroad (France), I took a trip to Morocco and met up with her and saw first-hand that what she does is difficult and it’s work. For years before that, I thought EH! Travel-writing, how hard can it be?! But she was occupied from sun-up to sun-down and when I didn’t have the energy to deal with one more minute awake, she had to sit down and write down notes and e-mail it off. When I got back to my apartment in France, I couldn’t wait to spent a few days asleep after all that running around. And that’s when I got the e-mail that said “I’ll be leaving for Japan in two days, but I wanted to send you this article. I wrote it on the plane and I thought you might enjoy seeing what will be published about our trip in Morocco.” And ever since, I have had ALOT of respect for her line of work.

    2. You lived in Holland. My mother lived in Bunnik and Utrecht and although my Opa passed away a few years ago, my Oma still lives there. Well, she lives in Maarsen anyway. That is so cool on your part.
