Isn’t it funny how the ones that shouldn’t be seem to work out? There was a betting pool that we wouldn’t make it to the 3rd date, and we’re 2 months out of our 1st anniversary of marriage!
I wish the both of you as much happiness and joy as we have found.
(And I’m glad our’s isn’t the only relationship to begin with a drunken make-out!)

Happy 4 year anniversary!! Crazy how things work out, but I’m glad it’s worked out for the best for you both I completely understand the difficulty with long distance & crying every night when someone leaves – I was in long distance (Canada to Australia) for 7 months!

I love this story, it rings true to me too, we had the same kind of relationship. I wrote about it this week because seven years later, the first phone call in 25 years happened on Labour Day weekend, and that phone call changed both of our lives forever. The cross-country move, the knowing but being scared, isn’t it wonderful?
