In reviewing all my different mileage statement for 2007, it finally struck me just how much I traveled. Now that may sound strange to some of you who are convinced I spend more time in the air than on the ground, but cheese and rice, I really didn’t realize it was this extreme until I broke it down:
-Hawaii: 9,724
-Tennessee, nine times: 15,788
-California, four times: 22,096
-Cuba via Cancun: 3,744
-Montreal: 670 (train)
-Iceland: 5,180
-Germany via Netherlands: 3,364
-Maine: 546
-Singapore via Hong Kong: 17,000
-Maldives via Singapore: 5,000
-Miami: 2,172
-Dominican Repbulic: 1,818
Which makes for a grand total of 87,102 miles traveled this year. Many of those trips were multiple-week excursions, too. And that’s just by air; it doesn’t factor in travel by bus, train, car and hippogriff. I’m tired just thinking about it.
Don’t worry Scott, my travel schedule will slow down a bit once I move in with you. Well…maybe.
